We’ve created this Offline Field Guide web app to give you instant access to channel charts, privacy code tables, button sequences, and troubleshooting steps exactly when you need them most, all you have to do is save it to your phone or tablet.
The following are step-by-step instructions to download the Offline Field Guide web app to your iOS or Android device. Once it is downloaded, you'll be able to access the guide even when your phone is offline.
Download Instructions for iPhone / iPad
(Safari browser required)
- Open the Offline Field Guide link in Safari.
- Tap the SHARE button at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap "ADD TO HOME SCREEN".
- Confirm by tapping "ADD" in the top right corner.
- The Rocky Talkie icon will appear on your home screen. Open it at least once while connected to the internet, and after that it will be available even when you're offline.
Download Instructions for Android
(Chrome browser required)
- Open the Offline Field Guide link in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Tap "Add to Home screen".
- Confirm by tapping "Add" or "Install". (This may differ slightly on each Android device.)
- The Rocky Talkie icon will appear on your home screen. Open it at least once while connected to the internet, and after that it will be available even when you're offline.
