Product Description +

This Mountain Radio EU kit combines two of our award-winning, license-free Mountain Radio EU with two Acoustic Headsets for Mountain Radio.

The Mountain Radio EU operates on PMR446 frequencies for use across Europe. Compact, simple, and tough, it provides up to 3–5 days of battery life (even in extreme cold) thanks to a specialized lithium-ion battery. Built with a shatterproof LED screen, thermoplastic protective housing, and an ultralight carabiner + backup leash, it’s engineered to withstand drops, impacts, and wet weather. Operating on the 446.0–446.2 MHz UHF band, the Mountain Radio EU transmits at the maximum power allowed without a license (0.5 watts), with a tested max line-of-sight range of 40+ kilometers—though 1–5 km is typical in mountain terrain. Out of the box, it’s ready to go—no setup or license required.

The Acoustic Headset for Expedition Radio is a surveillance-style, low-profile wired headset designed for discreet communication while hunting, working events, or on a production set. The upgraded in-line driver and braided nylon acoustic tube with abrasion-resistant cable provide clear audio in a durable, comfortable package with a convenient mounting clip to keep your push-to-talk (PTT) button and mic within reach. The Expedition Radio’s M3 connection port ensures a fully waterproof seal at the radio. The included Fit Kit provides four interchangeable eartip options to dial in ambient noise levels and comfort, all of which stow easily in the travel case.

Like all of our products, this
Mountain Radio EU Kit is backed by our commitment to sustainability and 3 year warranty for personal use, and 1 year warranty for commercial use.

    Work Well.

These are the first walky talkies we have had that seem to work with ease. I feel safer with the kids on a walk with the dog. Good range and clear and easy to use.

Best ski talkie on the market. We use ours all season long to keep track of the family and friends who join us for the day. We’re such fans we’re updating to the expedition radios to use on the river. Customer service is also excellent, friendly and helpful
