This flexible long antenna can be swapped onto the 5 Watt Radio. It can extend your range (by roughly 10-20% depending on the environment) and also boost your reception of NOAA weather channels. The 5 Watt Radio maintains the full IP67 waterproof rating with the 17cm Antenna attached.

    Hurricane Helene Relief

    After volunteering in WNC I needed a radio in a pinch and Amazon was going to take too long. I ordered the 5 watt radio and it arrived in 2 DAYS. It worked flawlessly in the hills and valleys of WNC and was a vital tool in delivering gasoline, heaters, propane, insulin, and many other necessities for the people in need. ROCKIE TALKIE ROCKS!

    Great Accessory

    Even though Rocky Talkie included one with my original purchase, I needed another one since I misplaced it. The longer antenna makes a HUGE difference. Rocky Talkie's customer service is top notch and they truly care about their customers. They make it a complete joy to purchase products from them!!

    Amazing customer service, amazing products.

    I ordered my 5 watt radios before they offered the 17cm antenna included with them. I emailed them about purchasing the antennas because I couldn’t find them on the website. Before I went to check for a response they already be shipped to my house free of charge. Rocky talkie is the best!

    Thanks for the antennas! We have a clearer communication, better than before. Going through the hurricane was are only means of communicating with the Rocky Talkies. And now with the extended antennas we feel better at the distance and will try at a longer distance.Thank you again for your product through the storm ! Jeff& Wanda
