The 5 Watt Radio uses a specialized lithium-ion, cold-resistant battery. This 1800 mAh battery achieves around 5 days on a single charge and around 150 hours of standby time. Batteries come included with each radio. This is a replacement battery for your existing 5 Watt Radio.
Watch this video to see the simple process of swapping out batteries. Replacement requires a small PH1 Phillips-head screwdriver. (Radios purchased before February 2024 may require a T6 Torx.)
