    It Works!

This upgrade does exactly what it promises. The buttons are clean and clear, it feels plenty sturdy, the cable is long enough without getting in the way.

Highly recommend if you get the whip antenna, so you don't have to hold the bulky walkie up to your head.

A nice incidental feature is that you can elevate the walkie to get a more clear signal over terrain and still chat through the mic (especially with the whip antenna).

    I’m impressed

Usually civilian hand mikes feel real cheap and usually don’t hold up that well. This Mike feels real solid and works great out of the box and I think it will hold up well. Excellent and well designed connection to the radio.
